Angel Flight Program
Jesus World Outreach Center, Inc. (JWOC) Angel Flight Program, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Faith-Based organization that provides free Aviation/Aerospace education classes, field trips, and orientation flights (1st flight) to under privileged youth in the community for the purpose of broadening their thinking to motivate them to further their education to become commercial pilots. We also have a network of volunteer pilots to provide free air transportation to disabled veterans, and those who need it most in the community children and adults. We serve the community and the state of North Carolina by flying patients to distant medical facilities, delivering blood and/or organs to medical facilities, delivering supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during desperate times. We see that no one is denied potentially life-saving medical care or compassionate transportation simply because they can’t afford to fly or because they are otherwise unable to travel by public transportation. This air transportation is provided at no-cost to the patients or the patients’ accompanying family member. We see a need in the community and the state; we coordinate, and provide this service to benefit the community and the state. This service is made available to any individual (children or adults), medical agency or health care organization in the state. Because of wars such as Operation Freedom, soldiers in our state have returned home disabled. These former soldiers are now civilians living in the community and throughout the state. They and others are in need of air transportation to distant medical facilities. As a former soldier and now a 90% disabled retired veteran, I feel their pain and know their need. Our service will coordinate and match volunteer pilots with individuals that are in need of air transportation for medical treatment to distant medical facilities. Volunteer pilots will fly patients to these medical facilities within the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia. The volunteer pilots that are flying these missions are commercial pilots that are donating their time, and personally owned aircrafts to the mission. Flight expenses ($495 each flight) to include fuel costs, rental car, overnight stay, airport fees, Aviation/Aerospace education classes, all class room material and orientation flights for under privileged youth are covered by the organization. We make at least eight medical, and two orientation flight a month or more as needed. JWOC Angel Flight Program will continue to coordinate and provide this free air transportation for medical treatments and/or compassionate flights as long as there is a need, and there is a need. We believe no one should ever be denied potentially life-saving medical care because they can’t afford to fly. We understand that a catastrophic illness can quickly exhaust a family’s financial resources. Your donation to JWOC Angel Flight Program will play an important role in helping to ease the financial burden that contributes to a family’s hardship, and you are helping to educate the next generation of commercial pilots. JWOC Angel Flight Program is entirely funded by corporations, Faith-Based groups, grants and private donations. Thank you for your help.

What Keeps Us Going
"We lost our home during the recent hurricane. Without the generous support of Jesus World Outreach Center, Inc and its volunteers, I don't know how we would have coped during those difficult times."
